PARKING
Parking pass required. Instructions will be sent to volunteers before race day to the email provided upon registration.
INSTRUCTIONS
Check-in and receive your volunteer credentials
Set up Festival Tent & Tables
Set up Start/Finish Line Barricades
Set up Race Recovery
Set up Finisher Medals
Pass out medals & cheer at the Finish Line
Pass out water/snacks at Race Recovery
Direct runners to The Plaza for food/beverage/awards/bathrooms
Keep area clean by throwing trash away
Teardown & load up equipment when race is over
Check out and return your volunteer credentials
WATER STATION INSTRUCTIONS
WATER STATION 1

8 AM Shuttle Depart to Water Station
8:15 AM - 11 AM Water Station

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Locate the water station kit for sign-in sheet, volunteer vest, volunteer badge, gloves, first aid kit, etc.
2. Wear your volunteer vest and badge at all times.
3. Put tablecloths on tables.
4. ALL volunteers hold a cup with arm fully extended away from you to make it easy to grab.
***If your station has Water Cups - only fill cup 1/2 full.
***If your station has Water Bottles - only open as needed, DON’T OPEN ALL!
***If your station has Blue Gatorade - only fill cup 1/2 full.
***If your station has Yellow Pickle Juice - only fill cup 1/4 full.
5. Yell out what you have, “WATER, GATORADE, PICKLE JUICE”. You may feel like you’re repeating yourself, but this is the first time and the only time they will hear you say it.
6. Motivate runners, get excited, keep them moving, cheer them on saying, "Good job, keep going, you got this!"
7. Throw away discarded cups, bottles, and trash using gloves provided.
8. After the last runner, place unopened bottles on table for pickup and check out on the sign-in sheet.
SAFETY REMINDERS:
***STAY OFF OF THE RACE ROUTE & OUT OF THE WAY OF RUNNERS AT ALL TIMES UNLESS TO PICK UP TRASH WHEN NO RUNNERS ARE COMING.
***LET RUNNERS COME TO YOU, DON’T GO TO THEM. NOT ALL RUNNERS WILL WANT HYDRATION.
***NON EMERGENCIES TEXT CONTACT IN VOLUNTEER FOLDER.
***MEDICAL EMERGENCIES CALL 911 AND STATE YOUR LOCATION.
EXPECTATIONS
- Volunteers must check-in and out on time. Late check-ins and early check-outs are not allowed.
- Must be able to lift 20-40 lbs.
WHAT TO BRING
- Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. The race will take place rain or shine so be prepared for whatever weather conditions will prevail on race day.
- Pack some snacks and liquid refreshments for your own use.
