The Irving Frost Half Marathon
The Irving Frost event provides an opportunity to celebrate health and wellness with friends and family in the winter. The Irving Frost quickly became a North Texas holiday tradition after the inaugural event in December 2019. Participants recall the first Irving Frost experience as very convenient and scenic. Many awards were won and new memories were made.

"We saw a need for a winter running event 3-4 months before the Irving Marathon in the spring," said Race Director Lazaro Alvarez. "The Irving Frost Half Marathon is an opportunity for a site and course preview before going the distance in the spring to complete the Irving Marathon. Often times showing up to get started is the hardest, but once we get started and experience what we have been missing it's easy to keep going. That is what the Irving Frost Half Marathon event is. An opportunity during the holidays to get started on your journey to run the Irving Marathon in the spring."
The scenic USATF routes, winter theme, post-race celebration, and central location, make the Irving Frost Half Marathon one of the best running events in North Texas. The event offers lots of perks for all participants.
13.1, 10k, and 5k distances are available through scenic Irving-Las Colinas Urban Center and Lake Carolyn
